The Portfolio

WRITE-1 PORTFOLIO comprises 60% of the AFA in Creative Writing. It has three sections:

SECTION A: EXPLORATION

for which candidates submit short examples of creative writing in three different forms, and a short commentary on their work

SECTION B: SPECIALISM

for which candidates submit an additional, longer piece of creative writing in just one of the three forms they explored for Section A

SECTION C: CRITICAL COMMENTARY

in which candidates comment on the development of and influences behind the piece of creative writing they submitted for Section B
